The team at Farnborough International Airshow will be wearing earmoulds made by Arlington Laboratories, as part of their comms equipment, throughout the event which takes place from 11-17 July 2016.
The Airshow takes place once every 2 years, and is one of the most iconic aviation events in the world. Held at the historical Farnborough Aerodrome in Hampshire, the show attracts over 1500 exhibitors from all over the world. The first 5 days of the event are for trade aerospace professionals and then it opens to the public on 16 and 17 July when there’ll be flying displays and a whole host of other attractions and entertainment.
Custom fit for comfort
A tiny hole is drilled into each custom fit earmould so that it can be attached to a radio, so the team can communicate with each other.
Each custom fit earmould is made using an impression of each individual's ear. This ensures the right fit which means more comfort. And good acoustic seal and retention helps to prevent feedback – leading to a better hearing experience.
Each member of the team customised their earmoulds with their unique choice of colour, glitter and logos/images.
