Reconnect with life 2 smallHere at Mary Hare Hearing Centre, we know the past few months have been hard, especially for those with hearing loss. That feeling of disconnection with everyday life and other people.

We’re now living in different times. There’s a new normal which means we still can’t gather in large numbers. And this has led to us making the difficult decision of cancelling our annual Open Day which we normally hold at Arlington Arts.

But, as we can’t do what we usually do we’ve decided to do what we can, by holding our Open Day online instead! So, we’re inviting you to join us, from the comfort of your own home or garden, for our first Online Open Day on Thursday 20 August. We'll be holding morning and afternoon sessions at 10am and 2pm respectively.

Our free virtual event will be hosted by the Hearing Centre's General Manager, Dr Sheetal Athalye RHAD, MSHAA. She will be joined by Bryan Dobson, the Hearing Aid Repair Shop's Operations Manager, and our special guest speaker Sue Falkingham, Hearing Therapist/Audiologist at Starkey Hearing Technologies UK. Sue will cover topics including:

  • How hearing well can combat loneliness and isolation
  • The links between hearing loss and overall health and wellbeing
  • Hearing technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI)

There will be chance to put your hearing related queries to Sheetal and Sue in our Q & A session and you will also find out about our range of special offers exclusively available to Online Open Day attendees.
