Changes to our service

As the lockdown gradually eases and we reopen our doors, we understand you might be feeling a bit nervous about coming in to see us. So, to make sure it as safe as possible for you and our staff, we have made some changes to how we normally operate.

Our hearing services available by appointment only:

  • Hearing test
  • Prescribe and fit hearing aids
  • Wax removal
  • Hearing care for existing and new customers

Our safety measures

Your safety remains our top priority. So, we will be operating under the latest guidance from the government and professional bodies. As a responsible hearing care provider, we will undertake some additional measures to ensure your hearing journey is safe and seamless in the current circumstances.

  • When you contact us, we will have to chat to find out how we support you in the safest and best possible way. If you just need replacement batteries or wax guards, for example, we can help you remotely by posting these out to you.
  • If you do need an appointment, we will book a time and date for you to come in. We will also guide you through the new safety procedures you can expect when you come in to visit us.
  • We are operating under the government’s current social distancing guidelines, so when you arrive for your appointment, you will be met at the door by one of our team. On entering, you’ll be asked to use the hand sanitiser provided. Please be aware that if you arrive early, you will be asked to wait outside.
  • During your appointment our audiologist will be wearing the relevant Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), e.g mask and gloves.
  • You will also be provided with a mask to wear during your appointment.
  • Our clinic rooms will be thoroughly cleaned between each appointment.
  • Following government guidance, we’re asking anyone with flu-like symptoms not to visit us. When you are feeling better, please contact us to rebook your appointment. We will look forward to welcoming you back then.
  • We require you to attend the appointment on your own, unless in exceptional circumstances. We apologise in advance for this inconvenience.
