Free Virtual Hearing Event

We're hosting a short online seminar on Wednesday 21 April at 12pm. It will focus on how hearing well can combat loneliness and isolation and have a positive impact on your wellbeing. We'd love for you to join us, from the comfort of your own home!

Our Virtual Hearing Event will be hosted by the Hearing Centre's General Manager, Dr Sheetal Athalye RHAD, MSHAA, and will cover:

  • How we're operating within government guidelines to keep you safe
  • How hearing technology is being used to help you stay connected with loved ones, and combat loneliness and isolation
  • The impact better hearing has on overall health and wellbeing
  • Guest speakers from Starkey, a global hearing aid manufacturer
  • Any questions you might have about your hearing

We know the past months have been difficult, especially for those with hearing loss. Conversations, communication and socialising are fundamental to our overall health and wellbeing, so it’s not hard to understand how hearing loss can lead to feelings of isolation or loneliness. Hearing well has never been so important to ensure we stay connected with our friends, families and the community around us.
