shutterstock 1849951480Mary Hare Hearing Centre recently hosted our our second online seminar. It focused on how hearing well can combat loneliness and isolation and have a positive impact on your wellbeing.

Our Virtual Hearing Event was hosted by the Hearing Centre's General Manager, Dr Sheetal Athalye RHAD, MSHAA, and covered:

  • How we're operating within government guidelines to keep you safe
  • How hearing technology is being used to help you stay connected with loved ones, and combat loneliness and isolation
  • The impact better hearing has on overall health and wellbeing
  • Guest speaker, Sue Falkingham, from Starkey - a global hearing aid manufacturer
  • Questions about hearing from attendees

We know the past months have been difficult, especially for those with hearing loss. Conversations, communication and socialising are fundamental to our overall health and wellbeing, so it’s not hard to understand how hearing loss can lead to feelings of isolation or loneliness. Hearing well has never been so important to ensure we stay connected with our friends, families and the community around us.

If you missed the live event you haven't missed out! We recorded the event so you can watch by clicking here.
